LAYTON TO DISCUSS PROROGATION WITH LAURENTIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS


SUDBURY – New Democrat leader Jack Layton will be speaking to two classes of Laurentian University students tomorrow, on foreign policy, prorogation, and post-secondary education.

“Canada is full of potential, but we face great challenges,” said Layton.  “We need better funding for post-secondary education and more support for students.”

Local MPs Glenn Thibeault and Claude Gravelle will also be participating in the discussion. 

Following the town hall, Layton, Thibeault, and Gravelle will visit the Garson Mine picket line.
