STATEMENT BY GLENN THIBEAULT ON ST-JEAN BAPTISTE DAY

“Dear friends and neighbours,

Today is a special day for franco-ontarians and for friends of the franco-ontarian community. It is with great pleasure that I join in the St-Jean-Baptist celebrations, le fete national des Canadiens français.

Today, French Canadians all across Canada celebrate the many cherished contributions of the French culture to our society here in Sudbury, and across our nation. 

At this time, I would like to personally thank and congratulate the many worthwhile and committed community partners who work year-round to promote and celebrate Sudbury’s rich francophone heritage:
