JACK LAYTON ON PICKET LINE WITH VALE INCO WORKERS

Federal NDP leader Jack Layton, along with local MP’s Glenn Thibeault and Claude Gravelle, will join Mine Mill 598/ CAW workers for a rally this Friday (July 24th) in Copper Cliff.

There will also be a short march to the Vale Inco staff parking lot to show support for local 6500 members of the Steelworkers Union, who are into two week two of their strike.

A press conference will be held following the march.

Location: McClelland Arena and Vale Inco staff parking lot

Time: 1:30 pm (rally and march)

           2:00pm (press conference)

Come out and support your fellow community members at the picket line!
